My tasty salad
I use a lot of sprouts in my salads. I grow sprouts such a Broccoli seeds, Alfalafa, Mung Bean, Lentils, Fenugreek & Radish seeds, Sunflower seeds, sweet pea shoots, at home indoors in sprouting trays.
I rinse the sprouts twice a day in fresh water & leave them on the windowsill for a few days.
I do rinse the empty trays with a diluted solution of distilled water & Hydrogen Peroxide. This to prevent any risk of unwanted bacteria.
The sprouts are easy to grow, are very cheap, highly nutritious, taste great, are very fresh & organic. I can certainly vouch for their health giving benefits. They also taste great.
