I took my neighbour's grandson to the play
area in the park yesterday.
I sat outside the play area & had closed my eyes concentrating on chanting when a little girl maybe about 6 years old, boldly asked me what I was doing.
I explained that I was meditating. She wanted to know what this meant. I further explained that our mind might tell us get me those sweets, get me that toy, get me that dress so if I do mantra meditation, I can tell the mind what to do rather than the mind telling me what to do. The little girl started clapping.
A few minutes later the same little girl came outside of the play area & sat next to me, telling she wanted to try my meditation. She was not interested in playing. So I taught her the Maha Mantra. It took her a few moments to pronounce Krishna co
