THE DANGERS OF WHEAT

Gluten can damage the intestinal lining and cause symptoms like those experienced in irritable bowel, pain, bloating, tiredness, anaemia, pain etc...

Wheat with Mountains Wheat  causes a rapid rise in blood sugar. Most wheat has been ground into fine flour which is digested speedily causing a spike in blood sugar. 

Wheat contains phytic acid which binds to minerals such as zinc, iron & calcium etc...


Wheat lectin can damage the intestinal wall causing a leaky gut & may also influence the immune response of the body.  


Wheat contains the gliadin protein which creates a craving so the desire to eat wheat rises.


What can you eat instead of wheat? 

I make pancakes using chick pea flour, chestnut & buckwheat flour.
